The present economic situation, with highly volatile oil prices and global competitor with a much leaner cost structure has brought the UKCS to another cross roads. In order to meet the challenges and ensure long term competitiveness of the oil and gas industry that will impact on the UK, we need to find and introduce industry-wide solutions - single project innovations are no longer sufficient. One of the remits of LOGIC is to act as a catalyst to such collaborative endeavours.
