Vantage POB Contacts

Overview

Vantage POB is LOGIC’s shared service to Oil and Gas operators for personnel and certification tracking at onshore and offshore installations.

Founded in Aberdeen, for use in Europe, operators in the UK, Ireland, Denmark and the Netherlands currently share the service.

Since inception, a significant number of oil and gas operators have joined the service in Europe.

Beyond Europe, the service is used by the companies that founded the service for locations in Angola, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, Trinidad and Indonesia.

To give an idea of scale, the service tracks over a million personnel movements per year to and from over 420 locations.

OPITO (http://www.opito.com) - the Oil and Gas Academy - uses the Vantage POB database to maintain their central register of approved training certificates.

Vantage POB can also be offered as a stand-alone solution for operators.  Please contact the Operations Manager if this would be of interest to your organisation.

What’s happening in 2009

2008 has brought a significant number of new operators on to the service and we see a high level of demand continuing in 2009.

Functionally, Vantage POB is undergoing a major extension due for delivery in Q2 2009 - Personnel Scheduling and Competency Management (PSCM).

PSCM will make it easier for planners to ensure that the correct mix of skills and personnel with special duties are scheduled be present on facilities.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I get a Vantage card?

A: You do not need a Vantage card to be booked to travel in Vantage POB.

Most heliports that use Vantage POB can print photo-id cards to speed up check-in on your subsequent trips. Ask for a card to be created next time that you travel.

Q: We have a wallet with a Vantage card - where do we send it?

A: The card has no monetary value and can be re-printed easily – please destroy the card. Please contact vantagepob@collabro.co.uk to let us know as we may be able to inform the owner of the item. 

Q: Can I get a user account on Vantage POB?

A: We offer read-only access to Vantage POB for companies that have registered employees in Vantage. Non-operator companies can have up to 15 registered users. Please contact vantagepob@collabro.co.uk or your company focal point to discuss your need for access.

Q: Who can add training certificate / medical certificate / insurance certificate information?

A: Operators are responsible for the maintenance of information held in Vantage POB. Please contact the logistics department of the operator that will next use the personnel in question.
