LOGIC SCM Activities

Supply Chain Management Seminars

The seminar provides a forum for exploring LOGIC's generic methodology for improving the supply chain. The methodology includes a number of tools and techniques that can be customised to specific supply chain improvement initiatives. It draws on a variety of sources, and contains techniques that have been developed by operators, providers, contractors, government organisations and trade associations.

The two-day seminar provides a taught but highly interactive introduction to the process of analysing an organisation's supply chain. Participants are limited to 12 per seminar. Your presence will have the added advantage to allow you a unique opportunity to network with like-minded individuals exploring an opportunity to improve their supply chain systems.

See the Logic Events page for details of dates and venues. Bespoke courses spanning companies across your specific Supply Chain can also be arranged.

Supply Chain Management Assessment

This diagnostic process is designed to help you identify areas of improvement in your supply chain practices. The process is underpinned by the LOGIC SCM Methodology, the only industry recognised approach and questions will be asked from three different perspectives:

  • What are your current practices?

  • Do you consider these to be best practices?

  • What is the size of the gap between current and best practice?

More importantly, the assessment is an opportunity for the companies to create an internal 'team for change' which can absorb the tools and techniques available and become a self generating catalyst for continuous improvement.

Bespoke Consultancy Service

To improve industry SCM practice, LOGIC will provide direct SCM support to companies/trading partners to enable them to improve SCM processes. The provision of direct SCM consultancy support will:
