South Arne OPEX spend cut by 20%
LOGIC presented their supply chain methodology tools to senior Amerada Hess procurement and production personnel. By using the tools demonstrated to them at the start of the assessment, and proactively applying them at every opportunity, the South Arne team has been able to cut its spend on Operational Support (OPEX) on the asset by around 20%.

Waste Reduction of close to £1 Million
During a LOGIC SCM assessment with one of its suppliers, an element which caused long delays in their procurement process was highlighted. By removing this element BP Exploration now sees a cost reduction, amounting to £1/2 million this year, with a projected saving of £1/4 million next year and a further reduction of over £100k the following year.

Engineering Contractor cuts purchase orders/invoices
Following an Assessment with LOGIC, Wood Group Engineering identified the potential to reduce purchase order generation by 20% and invoices received by 25%."

15% reduction in overheads achieved
Using LOGIC Supply Chain Management techniques has allowed Aker Maritime to find saving of approx. 15% on their overheads.

Supplier regains profit margins
As a result of a LOGIC assessment, a supplier has now regained margins, lead times, and positive benchmarked feedback as well as improved supply chain relationships, leading to approved supplier status.

By implementing LOGIC's recommendations, improvements were made to these supply chains. Waste and cost were taken out of the systems, and the savings achieved will allow the parties to become either more profitable or more competitive.
