Arne OPEX spend cut by 20%
LOGIC presented their supply chain methodology tools to senior Amerada
Hess procurement and production personnel. By using the tools demonstrated
to them at the start of the assessment, and proactively applying them
at every opportunity, the South Arne team has been able to cut its
spend on Operational Support (OPEX) on the asset by around 20%.

During a LOGIC SCM assessment with one of its suppliers, an element
which caused long delays in their procurement process was highlighted.
By removing this element BP Exploration now sees a cost reduction,
amounting to £1/2 million this year, with a projected saving
of £1/4 million next year and a further reduction of over £100k
the following year.
